local 621 & LOCAL 785 disaster relief

When Governor Hochul declared a state of emergency as remnants of Hurricane Debbie caused devastating floods, the NYS Laborers Health and Safety Fund sprang into action with Local 621 and Local 785. Local 621 delivered Gatorade, snacks and provided an ice machine to LC Whitford to distribute to clean up crews and residents in need. Local 785, in partnership with the Health and Safety Fund, set up a supply distribution at the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department in Canisteo and provided essential cleaning products and tools to area residents in need.
